Neighbourhood Parking Reminder Near Moss Park Primary School

We would like to make residents aware that local neighbourhood officers visited Moss Park Primary School yesterday afternoon following reports of inconsiderate parking in the area.

Concerns had been raised about vehicles blocking driveways and parking on junctions, which can make it difficult for drivers and pedestrians to see safely around bends. This type of parking also creates potential risks during the busy school pick‑up and drop‑off periods.

Unfortunately, this is not an issue unique to Moss Park Primary School, and similar concerns are experienced at many schools across the area during peak times.

On this occasion, officers provided advisory leaflets to drivers to help raise awareness and encourage more considerate parking. No enforcement action was taken.

We would kindly remind all motorists to park responsibly and consider the safety and access needs of local residents, pedestrians and other road users.
